Dr. Allen and the team at the Center for Behavioral Health deliver comprehensive psychiatric care to residents of Winter Park and its neighboring communities. He has been affiliated with Florida Hospital’s Center for Behavioral Health since 1997 and has served as its Medical Director since 1998.
Prestigious

Dr. Allen is board-certified in both general and geriatric psychiatry and holds academic appointments at Florida State University, Nova Southeastern University, and St. Matthew’s University. A strong advocate for community involvement, Dr. Allen serves on the Board of Directors for the Alzheimer & Dementia Resource Center, participates in the Maturing Minds™ advisory committee, and volunteers at Shepherd’s Hope, a non-denominational healthcare organization. He also has specialized training in Electroconvulsive Therapy (ECT) and Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS), both of which are effective treatment options for treatment-resistant depression.
